Due to the increased interest in the resolution of interpersonal conflicts in the last years, especially in the field of occupational psychology, the investigation of this topic in the field of educational psychology is also very important. The current investigation has determined that the negotiation is a strategy that can be learned by high school students. The participants were students aged between 17 and 18 years of a school in the city of La Paz, Bolivia. In the first phase of this research, the style of conflict management and the communication of each student have been measured using specific questionnaires. In the second phase the program of conflict resolution has been applied and in the third phase the questionnaires have been applied again. The results prove that by training the students with techniques of negotiation and communication they have better cognitive and behavioral resources to facilitate the negotiation process. The conclusion of this investigation is that the program of conflict resolution applied in an educational institution with high school students, has been effective.
