FUNES, Dennis; ARROYO JIMENEZ, Marcelo  and  JIMENEZ TAQUIGUCHI, José. Opportunities for climate financing in Bolivia. rlde [online]. 2023, n.especial, pp.131-171.  Epub Nov 30, 2023. ISSN 2074-4706.  https://doi.org/10.35319/lajed.2023esp309.

Bolivia, a country highly vulnerable to climate change, holds promising opportunities in climate financing. With increasing international focus on addressing climate challenges, Bolivia can access funds to enhance resilience and reduce emissions. Key avenues include the Green Climate Fund, Global Environment Facility, and bilateral partnerships. By investing in sustainable projects like renewable energy, afforestation, and climate adaptation, Bolivia can mitigate environmental risks, foster economic growth, and uplift communities. Effective utilization of climate financing, transparent governance, and strong partnerships can unlock a sustainable future for Bolivia while contributing to global efforts in combatting climate change.
