The article presents/displays an analysis of the options for a greater insertion of the renewable energies in the Bolivian electrical market. An evaluation of the present situation of the renewable energies is realised in Bolivia, with emphasis in the rural electrification; also appears a fast characterization of the Bolivian electrical sector. On the present data base, two cases are analyzed, the hydroelectric connection of photovoltaic systems to the Baja network Tensión (BT) and micropower stations providing necessary energy in the Media network Tensión (MT), as well as conditions for the accomplishment of these connections. The article concludes on the necessity to count on norm that stimulates the implementation of systems of generation distributed with renewable energies.
