Abstract In this study, a strategy is proposed and evaluated to enhance learning with the support of the "Flipped Classroom" in the content of Quadratic Equations, with adult evening students ofTechnical Careers of the University of Aconcagua-Chile. The initiative arises in the face of high failure rates and lack of context in the subject of Basic Mathematics in students with years without continuous formal education and with work duties at the same time. The research had a quantitative approach, using a quasi-experimental design with experimental and control groups, each with 30 students. Digital skills questionnaires, contests and tests were applied. The results reveal that the implemented model has a positive impact, improving mathematical skills and academic performance. In addition, there is a potential to reduce dropout rates, promoting a more active role for adult learners in their educational process and optimizing their time. Teachers are encouraged to combine virtual environments with active methodologies for greater impact
