Abtract The objective of this research was to establish the degree of relationship between ambivalent sexism and violence against women in dating relationships in young university students from La Paz-Bolivia. A correlational type study was carried out, with an ex post-facto design. The population was composed of 384 university students, who were between 18 and 29 years oíd. The Ambivalent Sexism Scale (ASI) and the instrument entitled Violence índex were applied to the young people. For data collection, a non-probalistic, snowball sampling was carried out. The analysis was carried out based on the application of the SPSS program, versión 24. Concluding that both ambivalent sexism and violence against women have a significant positive correlation, revealing that the greater the degree of ambivalent sexism, the greater the the degree of violence against women that will be perceived within a dating relationship
