Abstract The objective of this instrumental psychometric study was to build a scale to measure attitudes towards school violence in secondary school adolescents in the Ventanilla district, Callao, Perú. The sample was intentional and was made up of 1001 students from lst to 5th year. The results reflect evidence of validity and reliability. The previous 51 Ítems presented content validity (Aiken's V coefficient .87). In the exploratory factor analysis (AFE) and in the confirmatory factor analysis (AFC) it was decided to consider two factor models: AVE-E3 and AVE-E4. It could be concluded that the models obtained have validity and adequate reliability.
