Summary The current investigation aims to know, discuss, and contrast the Social Representation SR of tattooing in teenagers from 13 to 18 years old, divided into two groups located in La Paz city: a) tattooed teenagers from 13 to 18 years old and b) adults who get tattoos done during adolescence in the ege range mentioned. Through the qualitative research approach considering a similitude analysis, the top tree of both groups was constructed over the Social Representation about the mentioned subject, indicating their particularity or the representation nucleus of being tattooed teenagers signifying a mark for the entire life and for the tattooed adults it represents the reconstruction of history.
