Abstract Because work concept is being modified by socializing agents - universities among others - it was sought to determine whether the work centrality for university students was high or low by raising a research from a psychosocial perspective with a quantitative descriptive crosssectional approach and non-experimental design. A widely validated and used tool. The Meaning of Work Questionnaire created by the International Research Team in 1987 was used. The generated results indicated thatthe study population showed a high work centrality. It was recommended that forthcoming researches correlate the data.

Keywords : Absolute Centrality; Labor Goals; Societal Norms Regarding Work; Relative Centrality; Work Role Identification; Valued Work Outcomes.
