Abstract

ROESLER, Cristian. The significance of conflicts in couples: Jung-based therapy approach. Fides Et Ratio [online]. 2016, vol.11, n.11, pp.37-53. ISSN 2071-081X.

It is postulated that most couples mistakenly believe that close relationships are predestined to lead to happiness. Like Campbell, I consider the relationship primarily as a "place" in which the transformation of one's personality, as well as the transformation of one's partner can be initiated and encouraged. Instead of always evoke happiness and harmony, this process is experienced as conflicting and sometimes painful. The approach presented here explores the deeper meanings in the inevitable conflicts that perpetuate couples.

Keywords : Conflictos; pareja; transformación; polarización; terapia; Conflict; couple; transformation; polarization; therapy.
