The challenge that the current article proposes is focused in demystifying certain inaccurate formulations built around the Freudian concept of the supergo. Although there are not absolute readings of conceptions in psychoanalysis, aspect that procures a theoretical dynamism starting from the constant rereading of its approaches, it is currently necessary to review the Freudian formulations of the superego. This persuit is not exclusively raised by a theoretical interest, on the other side, it is raised by a strictly clinic approach. In this sense, what is proposed in a questioning way is the concept review starting from arguing its current importance as well as it's clinic practice
