Abstract The Tribute to Pope John Paul II on the occasion of his canonization was an opportunity to analyze, the founding experiences of his being as a person, endowed with exceptional charisma, totally dedicated to spiritual valúes with a missionary dimensión, first in his country and then as leader of the universal Church. The focus of the work relates four coordinates "contemplatio-actio, srodowisko, intellectual growth and pastor of souls" before and during his papacy. Somehow, to understand the spirit of John Paul II gifted with a splendid personality, full of mysticism in action even before being seminarían, very cióse to families and their communities and, dedicated to an everlasting intellectual research, to give efficacious answers to his own people and the global humanity.
