Abstract

BARONA VILAR, Silvia. Portrait of civil justice in the 21 th century: chaos or the birth of a dancing star?. Rev. Bol. Der. [online]. 2018, n.25, pp.416-444. ISSN 2070-8157.

Neo-modernity, a consequence of globalization, presents the crisis of the model of traditional Civil Justice. A crisis that has led to a metamorphosis of Justice: the right to access to justice is recognized, but this is presented as a “Multi-rooms Justice System” in which Courts and processes coexist with ADR / ODR; is an increasingly digital Justice, more agile, but too inspired by economic thinking, which jeopardizes the essential values of dignity and equality of people.

Keywords : Civil Justice; Globalization; Neo-modernity; ADR; ODR.
