The paper analyses, firstly, the implications thatorigined the Labour Law discipline from its birth to the consolidation as an specific branch of law separated from the Civil Law. Likewise, studies the mos significant spanish legislative development from the first signs of State interventionism into labour relationships to the democratic period arrival. Finally the work goes deeply into an approach to the Labour Law functional and objetive delineation.
