ABSTRACT: In this article we analyze the judgement of ECHR in the case of Jimenez Losantos v. Spain.This verdict becomes relevantfortwo reasons:first, because itdeals with the so-called"advocacy journalism", and second, because although recognizing that the use of certain expressions by the journalist could be reproachable deontologically, ECHR considers his conduct protected under freedom of expression.
