This paper studies the right to maintenance of children and adolescents. It analyses the most relevant and important jurisprudence of the Federal Court on this topic in order to identify the principles or rules that have acted as the material source of the Civil and Commercial Code. It also embraces some reforms that brings the new Argentine legislation in this matter.
