This study aims to examine the legal treatment of the guardian of minor children in crisis situations of couple in Spanish law.There is a special emphasis on the Aragonese civil law (one of the civil law that coexist in the Spanish territory), in response to its novel treatment of the subject, and particularly its clear option for joint guardian as guardian model that best meets becomes the best interests of minor children and in order also to promote equality of parents.
