Abstract This academic article conducts an analysis from the systematization of the different views of contemporary science on two aspects of global environmental problems: global warming and degradation of the ozone layer, specifying its causes and consequences. The objective trace the author seeks to delimit the different theoretical positions taken and the reasons that justify the practical each of these positions, highlighting far are established facts and scientific theories. Treatment of scientific content is also addressed by the media and the use of such content by socially known personalities, but distant domain to take the necessary party to events of magnitude as complex scientific tools.
