Abstract

RUEDA ORTIZ, Rocío. Socio-technical (trans)formation, subjectivity and political. Rev. de Inv. Educ. [online]. 2014, vol.7, n.3, pp.34-51. ISSN 1997-4043.

This article analyzes the individual and collective subjectivities mediated by a technological materiality, as a quality of our humanization. It will be argued, from ontology of agency that we are witnessing new forms of sociality through the current technologies which are offering both: new possibilities of creative expansion of such subjectivities based on affection and a logical and relational reflexivity, but also new forms of domination and subordination. Hence forms of citizenship and politics could be powerful but also contradictory and ambiguous.

Keywords : citizenship; digital technologies; agency; subjectivities; politic.
