Abstract

This article is an analytical review of the educational reality of children attending rural and opportunities that the academic resilience in improving learning outcomes in schools. When asked how to improve rural education, and considering the few studies on the subject, there is the interest in learning alternative strategies that could become liable to be replicated in these contexts. For this, a literature review of the rural context and educati on, the concept of academic resilience and its impact on learning is performed, and some suggestions are drawn to explore in order to improve the educati on they receive children in rural contexts.
