Abstract

CAMPOS, Gabriel Emanuel. Crisis of rationalizing process the body and the genre from the Physical Education practices. Rev. de Inv. Educ. [online]. 2014, vol.7, n.1, pp.83-97. ISSN 1997-4043.

This article describes the origin (late nineteenth century) the process of disciplining the body and the genre that took place in Argentina's primary educational institutions, through the school subject called Physical Education. This subject delimit male and female reactions by rationalist worldview of the body (similar to a machine, subject to measurement, calculation of body practice) justifying through body movements, the social dichotomy male (strong, resilient , energetic, dynamic) contrast to the woman (weak, fragile, passive, demure). Curricular standards and practices were bodily mechanisms or techniques with the body structure of the universe kinesic / as children / as mechanisms present, historical vestiges that still remain but expressed in a way changing built highlighting the crisis rational viewof gender.
