CARRASCO ALURRALDE, Paola. Life, Work and Study in Transformation: Experiences, attitudes and ways of life of Bolivian students: an empirical study. Rev. de Inv. Educ. [online]. 2013, vol.6, n.1, pp.193-222. ISSN 1997-4043.
Empirical Pilot study regarding social and cultural integration from a students' perspective in public Universities in Bolivia (La Paz) and the interpretation of complex conditions and perspective fields in the context of important national and global processes that represent the highlights in a "transformation country" based on the design of available transnational academic dialogues. Contrasting the statements and results of studies conducted simultaneously in Germany (2006-2010), differences and similarities in attitudes and experiences of work and life of students in Europe will be revealed founded on a new academic dialogue South-South-North. The study also seeks to contribute to international research horizon with global aspirations of young people. The study is initiated and established by the common experience of the development cooperation between the Bremen University and its counterpart Universidad Mayor de San Andrés (UMSA), La Paz (Bolivia), particularly in DAAD-DIES projects2.
