Migration represents an important part of human nature. It is a phenomenon that through the years, has adopted very complex ways. Direction of migrations has been determined by the need of adequate resources, tools and places for the development of human beings. However, in further phases, migrations were influenced by territorial expansion and also economic and political interests, which are characteristic of the latest migration movements. Movement, as a basic characteristic of migration, involves transportation from one place to another, which can happen within or between countries. In some cases, it also implies the breaking up of families, because many times, fathers and mothers are obliged to leave their children behind in their places of origin. Both for people migrating or staying, this situation creates a psychological panorama of fear, loneliness and nostalgia that generates, especially in children, insecurity and shyness. In addition, migrants need to confront acculturation processes that often happen abruptly, and this affects their interpersonal relationships and learning processes. In front of this situation, and given the fact that migrations are increasing, school teachers need to develop intervention strategies based in research tools in order to reach an integration of children to the new situation as harmonious as possible through educational processes characterized by the acknowledgement of the "other", paying attention to the cultural diversity based on the horizontal knowledge dialogue and adopting strategies to palliate the psychological effects of family destructuration.
