MORA, David. Dialogue and dialectic transfer of wisdom/knowledge. Rev. de Inv. Educ. [online]. 2012, vol.5, n.3, pp.31-75. ISSN 1997-4043.
The wealth of information and knowledge in all scientific and technological áreas has increased exponentially since the end of the last century. We can add to this the riches of the ancestral and popular knowledge, which have recently gained new significance in our societies thanks to the battles the indigenous people fought during the past years and the spaces that were conquered by the workers worldwide. These transcontinental socio-cultural transformations have allowed for the incorporation of ancestral and popular knowledge, uniting them with the institutionalized knowledge in the respective curricula of some countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. We now learn about new forms of understanding and of applying and managing scientific-technological knowledge in relation to the dialogue and reciprocal transfer between these three conceptual forms of wisdom and knowledge. This article discusses this topic in light of the multiple empirical and theoretical results of recent years. As a basis for discussion we rely on a set of relevant quotations that are linked to the dialogue of the transference of wisdom/knowledge, which contribute to the elaboration of a critical position with regard to the processes of scientific and technological interaction, aiming at the objective of achieving the living well for the entire population or each of our countries.
