Abstract

GARRIDO GOMEZ, Alejandro. Social justice in the dialectical social inclusion / exclusion. Rev. de Inv. Educ. [online]. 2012, vol.5, n.2, pp.181-188. ISSN 1997-4043.

Generally, when social exclusion is addressed, it is related to poverty; however, this article shows social exclusion as a two-dimensional and multisector concept. Besides, exclusion cannot be understood without addressing social inclusion, but rather than being antagonistic concepts, both show the dialectical movement of societies. Instead of merely generating new perspectives for social inclusion, this article introduces a new element into this discussion: social justice. We explain how social justice will generate a participatory equity, which implies the building of a new institutionalism based on new social agreements.

Keywords : social exclusion; social inclusion; social justice; citizenship.
