AGUILAR MARENO, María Luz. Educación técnica, tecnológica y productiva, hacia la revalorización del trabajo manual. Rev. de Inv. Educ. [online]. 2011, vol.4, n.1, pp.161-173. ISSN 1997-4043.
Summary Initiating with the Elizardo Pérez-Avelino Siñani Education Act, we must look to the challenges of a productive education. Looking back is strategic in this task, the previous Bolivian technical education experiences taught in work values, but still reproduced the capitalist logic, with the objective of profit; they recreated the colonial social structure also, building subjectivities that devaluate manual labour. The possibility of carrying out an education that emphasizes the technical, technological and productive aspects is part of the dialog and action oriented to overcome the negative aspects of previous initiatives, driving this comprehension of production as a way to ensure the welfare of human beings and nature, putting value in work as a whole. The equal valorization of manual and intellectual work practices can start in school and reach the community.
