Abstract

CORONEL BERRIOS, Franz Harold. Reflexiones pedagógicas para el desarrollo de la educación en el trabajo productivo. Rev. de Inv. Educ. [online]. 2011, vol.4, n.1, pp.117-130. ISSN 1997-4043.

ABSTRACT The logic of the capitalist system has caused problems such as exploitation, poverty and the environmental crisis. The rationality that prevails in this system limits the creative and innovative capacities of human beings, allowing only efforts led by a low-cost mass production, using many people with jobs that require repetitive predetermined activities. "Work" is then understood from an individualistic perspective as a way for the gathering of richess for a few, at the expense of our natural and social environment, it is important to reflect on the ways work can overcome the mercantilist vision to promote solidarity and reciprocity as required in the educational transformation processes that are occurring in the State of Bolivia. The introduction of educational practices focused on productive work can be one of the ways to achieve the integral and multifacetical development of students as a way to repel the harmful effects of capitalist logic, in that thought, education in productive work must have a social utility that engages the community, positively changing the life of schoolchildren, with vocationally-oriented activities that relate with their social and natural environment. In short, to prepare them for life.

Keywords : Socially useful work; Conscientious and willing; Ideological approach to productive work; Career guidance for students; Development of independent activity and employment.
