This article summarizes some aspects of the critical didactics suggested and studied in the Critical Didactics of the Financial Mathematics research project, guided by Professor Dr. Rosa Becerra in the Pedagogic Institute of Caracas. The main topic of this article is the political debt Europe keeps with the Caribbean and the Latin-American countries. It is mathematically handled in a continuous and discrete way but from a socio-critical perspective.
