Resumen

VIANA, Jorge; CLAROS, Luis  y  SARZURI-LIMA, Marcelo. La condición colonial y los laberintos de la descolonización. Rev. de Inv. Educ. [online]. 2010, vol.3, n.1, pp.13-36. ISSN 1997-4043.

This essay seeks to feed an open discussion around the theme of decolonization, after making a review of authors from different theoretical perspectives. The central idea of this paper is to report about the colonial condition. For this we emphasize the concept of internal colonialism according to Gonzáles Casanova, who argues that the Indian community is a colony within the national boundaries. In turn, we follow through the ideas of Bolivians Fausto Reinaga and Rene Zavaleta Mercado, from the former we retake the idea of pan-Indianism or constraction of the continet-state and from the later his analysis of how the "gamonal" state form and the notion of mutual determination ofthe components in the colonial condition, where the lord is seen in the eyes of the Indian and vice versa, what Luis Tapia named overdetermination. Finally, a review of the colonial narrative concept as worked by the group of Subaltern Studies, which suggests that the historiography involved an invisibility of those subordínate. All this theoretical construct shows the labyrinths of the decolonization process which involves the need to think about new ways of superseding the relations of domination.

Palabras clave : Decolonization; colonial status; mutual determination of the components; subaltern studies.
