Abstract

VENET MUNOZ, Regina; MARTINEZ ISAAC, Róger  and  DELISLE SESE, Marlene. La formación permanente en atención a la diversidad desde un Proyecto Educativo de Centro. Rev. de Inv. Educ. [online]. 2009, vol.2, n.2, pp.205-219. ISSN 1997-4043.

ABSTRACT Student diversity expresses itself in different ways: previous ideas, different styles and learning rhythms, forms of progress, motivations and interests, capabilities and evolution in learning. Its recognition is the starting point for the development of a pedagogy of diversity to avoid differences that could become inequalities and disadvantages among the students. Faced with this challenge, the teacher does not always know what to do, and the school in general could become an institution that reproduces social inequalities through education. The present work proposes professional, continued teacher education regarding the problem of attention to diversity, articulating the interests of a project I+D, with the educational centre project as a space where the research, the methodology and the professional continous education of the teacher are set as in an essential relationship; these are substantial processes of the Cuban school, especially of academic postgraduate education.

Keywords : attention to diversity; permanent education; educational centre project.
