ABSTRACT This work presents the Visions of the World - Mechanistic, Economic and Complex - that are competing in the context of the present Change of Epoch, showing the implications of each of these Visions of the World and emphasizing the more and more pressing need of the Complex World Vision for the Strategy of organizations, derived from the lessons of Chaos Theory and the fractal characteristics.
