Abstract

ABSTRACT The didactic approach for the conceptual comprehension of basic mathematical meanings is conceived by first considering the inadequacies in student comprehension that are barriers in the learning process. An analysis based on an integrated vision of semiotics, gnoseology, psychology and sociology converging in expressive learning allows us to make a didactic proposal for conveying significant cognitive learning, sustained in a communication and methodological approach for the treatment of concepts. The proposal consists in the system of mathematical meanings for the training of professors of Exact Sciences and the conditions that favour significant learning, which focus on the strengthening of the implementation of a process of significant learning, the presentation of a vision of how learning should be developed and how to carry out a significant evaluation process.
