The female entrepreneurship comes to be a way to reach the independence and freedom goals to impulse women empowerment. This study identifies the facts which defines the entrepreneur character of informal businesswomen; those who adapts quickly, are sensitive and flexible to changes of environment.
For this study it was used the Data Base of customers from “Crecer IFD” from the branch offices of La Paz and El Alto. The results were classified starting from 21 indicators grouped in 5 dimensions. In general way, the results show that, the most important four factors that motivate entrepreneurship are the independence search, perseverance, altruism and extra incomes need. The fact is that many women do not have formal knowledge in entrepreneur and that her business, most of it, are informal; it opens the chance to change and quickly adapt to unknown conditions, keeping her entrepreneur essence. Perseverance in them highlight on the independence and self-worth search. It can be said that entrepreneurship generates positive effects on female empowerment, it gives her the chance to be independent, take her own decisions, and consequent, contribute to Bolivian society.
