Actualmente, en Bolivia, muchos estudiantes de pre y posgrado experimentan limitaciones teóricas y/o metodológicas para realizar investigaciones científicas de calidad. En ese sentido, los estudiantes recurren a libros metodológicos o artículos publicados en revistas nacionales que se caracterizan por la ausencia de aspectos prácticos o una visión científica internacional. Por tanto, diferentes investigaciones realizadas en Bolivia no se publican internacionalmente porque los documentos no cumplen criterios teóricos y/o metodológicos exigidos por las revistas científicas internacionales. Nuestro artículo presenta una recolección de experiencias sobre aspectos teóricos y metodológicos para la realización de investigaciones de mercado e investigaciones del área social. De ninguna manera el artículo se atribuye cubrir todos los aspectos teóricos y prácticos para realizar investigaciones de mercado o de las ciencias sociales. Sin embargo, a pesar de sus limitaciones, el artículo busca contribuir a los vacíos teóricos y metodológicos existentes en diferentes investigaciones bolivianas.
