Abstract

GANGA CONTRERAS, Francisco  and  VILLACIS MOYANO, Horacio. Individual and group factors influencing the productivity of workers in large and medium-sized enterprises of Guayaquil. Perspectivas [online]. 2018, n.42, pp.97-122. ISSN 1994-3733.

The primary motivation of the study is related to questions of business managers, trying to find answers that help visualize the causes that affect the productivity of workers in their daily activities. The main purpose of the work is to determine, from the perception of the operative business managers, the factors that influence the productivity of the workers in the large and medium enterprises of the city of Guayaquil. A documentary investigation was carried out, confirming the absence of local investigations in this field, so it was necessary to appeal to foreign studies. A questionnaire was applied to experts in labor productivity and human talent management, as well as to business operational managers directly linked to workers. This allowed us to identify mainly psychological and psychosocial aspects inherent in the human being, either because of their individuality or when they form groups in work activities.

Keywords : Company; factor; productivity; individual; group.
