This research aims to identify the different endogenous development visions based on the analysis of current development models; thus, explain if development model mechanisms - used in local communities - coincide with those from Latin America countries. Results show that current development models, in countries, respond to local needs, allowing the strengthening of local capacities; otherwise, applied policies and development mechanisms will be resisted, resulting into the establishment of a new development model.
