TERRAZAS PASTOR, Rafael. Operations planning and programming. Perspectivas [online]. 2011, n.28, pp.7-32. ISSN 1994-3733.
One of the most important and most stereotyped activities in organizations is referred to the planning. This activity has many connotations and scope, from the logical planning of activities to the strategic and financial planning. In this brief essay, we'll try to set efficient and procedural basis for planning and operations scheduling, through the classic tools of Gantt charts and graphs lattice expressed in PERT - CPM theory. It is true that there is considerable literature on the subject, however, despite the length of studies, there are topics that have not necessarily been resolved in all their magnitude, such as business planning and development resources of random networks. Thus, there is still a vast field of research and application of these tools and their context of use are given in the production and operation areas, in projects, and in social, political, economical scopes, etc.
