Abstract

This article analyses the "itinerant mining work" performed by women in the Chorolqu* Cooperative. Until a few years ago, women were banned from working inside the mine, but nov it is a common practice. For different reasons, women miners move from working inside th< mine to the surface, or vice versa. Based on these shifts in the location of their work, they buik dynamics that differentiate them from their male peers.
