Resumen
MENDIETA PARADA, Pilar. From the 1952 Revolution to Evo Morales The political journey of the rural trade unión movement in Bolivia. Tinkazos [online]. 2015, vol.18, n.37, pp.35-47. ISSN 1990-7451.
Indigenous people participated in all the different political conjunctures the cóuntry has lived through. In the process, they resorted to pacts and alliances with the state and political parties, but also drew up their own projects seeking inclusión within difference. The trade unión seems to be the organizational model that has had the most success in including indigenous people in politics. This refutes the approach that seeks to understand indigenóus participation solely in terms of cultural resistance and rebellion.
