The public urban bus transport system has become one of the most complex problems to be addressed in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. This research examines the organization and management of this sector, its relationship with the state and its impact on the urban territory. It concludes with some policy suggestions that the municipal government could use to bring about an efficient transport system.
