Abstract

ENRIQUEZ E., René. Highly nutritious agroindustrial products from Bolivia’s Amazon region. Tinkazos [online]. 2013, vol.16, n.34, pp.119-130. ISSN 1990-7451.

Moringa, açaí, majo and cupuaçu, fruits native to the Amazon region of Pando, have significant agroindustrial potential because they are easy to produce and highly nutritious. These four types of fruit were selected by a team of researchers for a series of experiments. The results reveal the remarkable qualities and values of these fruits whose industrial processing could improve the economy and health in the region.
