What is behind the current emergence of the popular, indigenous, aymara, mestiza, chola economy? Are the guidelines of social mobility being transformed, and how? What are the repercussions of this in urban and rural spheres? Is it possible to decolonise mestizaje? T’inkazos has set out to relocate the debate surrounding mestizaje, and delve into the reconfiguration of Bolivian Andean region social structures in the 21st century, by means of a colloquium and two articles by experts in the field.
