CHOQUE QUISPE, María Eugenia y MENDIZABAL RODRIGUEZ, Mónica. Decolonizing gender theory through the deepening of the condition sullka and mayt´ata. Tinkazos [online]. 2010, vol.13, n.28, pp.81-97. ISSN 1990-7451.
Awareness of the domination of indigenous, rural and Afro-Bolivian women has been addressed using spaces and methods that gender theory has claimed for itself, forgetting to recognise womens condition as minors who are also on loan. The authors of this article propose to work on this condition so that it serves as a mirror, to transgress the norms with the aim of recovering history, constructing identity as a people and reinforcing womens self-esteem as rational subjects with a will of their own.
