Abstract

SANTABARBARA, Javier  and  LOPEZ ANTON, Raúl. DEGREE OF SATISFACTION OF THOSE ATTENDING A META-ANALYSIS WORKSHOP IN MEDICINE. Rev Cient Cienc Méd [online]. 2020, vol.23, n.1, pp.22-26. ISSN 2077-3323.

Objective: To determine the level of satisfaction of those attending a workshop course on systematic reviews and meta-analysis in biomedical sciences. Methodology: Cross-sectional and descriptive study, in which a semi-structured satisfaction survey was administered to those attending the course held in July 2019. Results: 73% of the undergraduate students who attended the course came from Undergraduate or Postgraduate degrees in Medicine. On a 5-point rating scale, attendees positively rated the topicality of the subject taught, as well as adequate teaching methods and a suitable combination of theory and practice. They also highlighted the positive attitude of the teaching staff and the amenity of the course, considering their recommendation. Conclusions: The level of satisfaction of the course attendees was good (significantly higher than the neutral value of 3) and has tried to provide attendees with the necessary tools to carry out a systematic review and meta-analysis.
