Abstract

In this article, we present a case series from the "Dr. Eduardo Liceaga" General Hospital's department of Angiology and Vascular Surgery, of early and late complications secondary to traumatic vascular lesions of patients studied and treated from June 2012 to June 2013. In civil trauma, the most affected group is the young and male patients, as a consequence of being relatively more at risk of injury from both firearms as sharps. Complications secondary to trauma are largely a result of delays or failures of their diagnosis and treatment, and may present at long term, even representing disorders demanding urgent resolution.
