Abstract

The current study has been done to evaluate the adherence to National Control of Tuberculosis Program in patients over the age of 18, whom comes to Temporal Health Center during 2011-2012. A descriptive, retrospective and transversal study was carried out, in which a test was applied to 13 patients that have taken the antituberculosis treatment during August 2011 to August 2012, in Temporal Health Center, previous validation of the test and informed consent of the participants.The test was divided into different areas of concern, compliance treatment, style life change, auto medication, physician - patient alliance, in order to facilitate the determination of the antituberculosis treatment adherence. As a matter of concern de evaluation criteria's shown, 46% of patients change their lifestyle, 53% of patients accomplishedthe treatment, 61% have not committed self-medication and 61% had good patient-physician relationship. In conclusion, it was found that 7 out of 13 patients this treatment adhered to the National Tuberculosis Control Program, representing 54% of total and 6 are not, which is equivalent to 46%.
