The Pneumonias acquired in the community (NAC) continue being one of the most frequent infectious Pathologys with a high rate of hospitalization and mortality. This one is a descriptive, transverse study where we study 53 hospitalized patients who expired with the requirements of inclution and exclution. Inside the obtained results is observed that the NAC is more frequent in extreme ages of the life, the majority of the cases are proceeding from the urban area, we demonstrate also that the above mentioned pathology was not associated to comorbilidades in most cases.The Streptococcus pneumoniae was the agent etiológico more frequent with Gram's tint (+) in 95 %.
