Abstract

It names latrodectismo to the syndrome of poisoning for bite of spiders of the kind(genre) Latrodectus. The causal agent in America is Latrodectus mactans known as"black widow","spider of the coloured(red) back" and "spider of the wheat". Later we report the case of a 47-year-old patient, whose picture is a product of the bite of Latrodectus mactans, consider this case to be relevant since we must know the clinical characteristics of this syndrome, opposite case we might meet immersed in a wide gamma of possibilities that go from a acute abdomen, tetanus, pancreatitis, up to a acute heart attack of myocardium.
