The goal of the current study is to explore and describe the interpretative signals and lyrical content of the music video 'La cumbia feminazi' through a semiotic analysis. At the moment, audiovisual semiotics research emphasizes how music video clips should be interpreted in order to help the public comprehend the concepts, imagery, and audio that are conveyed in that musical material. The study is a qualitative approach, descriptive and hermeneutic design. The findings show that, even in today's society, efforts are made to uphold certain 'stereotypes': women should limit their responsibilities to the home and raising their children, and women who defy these social norms are silenced. It also shows that men fail to acknowledge the machismo they exhibit in all of their interactions, whether at work or at home. In summary, 'La cumbia feminazi's' content demonstrates the intricacies of the discursive and cultural dynamics surrounding feminism and gender equality, offering important insights into the perspectives and discussions surrounding these subjects and thereby advancing a more comprehensive understanding of the wide range of modern culture.
