This article analyses the working conditions of women journalists in Bolivia from 2020-2022 from gender perspective. The content is part of a wider study developed for the Research, Postgraduate and Interaction in Communication Institute (IPICOM) in 2023. The research applied polls, interviews and focus groups with journalist form different types of media all over the country. It was concluded the journalistic enterprises neither respect basic working rights because they do not pay for medical insurance or retirement. Besides, there is segregation, precariousness, discrimination and gender inequality because inequitable hiring policies, job promotions and differences between the salaries of men and women journalists.
