The objective of this article is to determine the representations of Aiquile's death rituals through Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the Facebook group "Aiquileñ@s x el mundo" during 2021. It is identified by knowing the intentionality of the administrators and family members when creating this type of content, funeral publications, during the study time and with the analysis of the users' perception on this type of publications. Data is obtained through interviews, content analysis and surveys. Due to the nature of the tools, the research responds to a mixed methodology and according to the temporality, it is retrospective. It is concluded that the cultural values of the town are represented on Facebook. Death creates an environment of solidarity and empathy to accompany the grieving family. In addition, it is a kind of obituary where people express their feelings regarding the death of a family member, a friend, or a countryman.
